Camila is a Neurobiology student pursuing a career in medicine. Through her time as an EMT working both 911 and IFT, she has gained a passion for emergency medicine and insight into the multidisciplinary field of medicine. Camila currently volunteers for SoCal Street Medicine as an EMT where she aids the unhoused population of San Diego and provides basic BLS and wound care. Moreover, she spends her time volunteering at hospitals and local clinics! Camila joined DEM for a like-minded community that is dedicated to joining and contributing to the various fields of healthcare.
